Mission
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide quality blood support as well as quality and timely medical laboratory services for troops and family members in the Pacific Command area of operations. These services include:
- Meet the overall blood product requirements for more than 2.5 million beneficiaries in the theater.
- Accurate collection and supply of blood products, and education to health care providers allowing them to evaluate patient health care needs and theater treatment.
- Maintain operational readiness that provides for a rapid transition to wartime blood program operations.
- Continuous education of staff and other clients to maintain provision of quality health care and well being.
- Push blood supply forward weekly to the Armed Services Whole Blood Processing Laboratory in support of the Combatant Commands or Overseas Contingency Operations.
