There are more than 20 ASBP blood donor centers (BDCs) in the United States and around the world. Please select a location from the drop down menu or click on your location on the map. The nearest donor center will appear, as well as scheduled blood drives for the next two months. If an online appointment is available, you will be able to select the blood drive on the right and sign up to give blood on any of the dates listed. If a blood drive does not appear after choosing a donor center, the drive dates have passed and new dates will be added as drives are scheduled.

Mobile Drives

Many centers "take the show on the road" and conduct mobile blood drives. Please contact the recruiter nearest you if you are interested in hosting a blood drive at your installation. Recruiters can also assist in scheduling times for groups of donors to give blood at the BDC.

Platelet Donation

In addition to whole blood donation, some BDCs offer platelet apheresis donation. One platelet apheresis donation provides as many platelets as six to ten whole blood donations. Platelet donors can also give platelets more frequently than whole blood, up to 24 times per year. Learn more by visiting the About Platelets page.

Documents to Bring

In order to help make the donation process run smoothly, please bring the following items with you to your donation appointment:

• Donor History form (optional) listing all foreign travel since 1980, medications and immunizations taken in the past four weeks
